The Tarragona Tennis Club will continue in the second national category

A total of eight players formed the team that moved to Pamplona in order to maintain the second national team category. It should be noted that more than half of the team was formed by players from the club's quarry.

In the first day, those from Tarragona lost the options of following the fight for the ascent when they fell against the C.AT. Hold for a set 4/3 to the overall result. Hector Ruiz and Pablo Marín added their individual victories, this meant that they had to win the two doubles games to move forward, which was difficult, since the Montenar had a balanced team and with Sergio Gutiérrez de pure power between its rows.

But the CTT players traveled to Navarra with a clear objective and this was to maintain the category, so the real fight was still to be played and it would be on Sunday 8th of October against the host team, the CT Pamplona. Those of the CTT went to the track very concentrated and thus closed down the fast track in the round of individuals and with a result of 4/1. And Alex Valeriano, Pablo Gor, Hector Ruiz and Pablo Martin won their games without losing a single set.

The captain of the team was the legendary coach of the former and former ATP player Alex Lopez. The team consisted of Bogdan Djurdjevic, Hector Ruiz, Pablo Martin, Àlex Valeriano, Pablo Gor, Carlos Castellote, Arnau Bergadà and Pol del Castillo.
