The running section travels to Ávila to run the Half Marathon
A total of 16 members made the trip

On October 22 at 10:30 p.m., the departure of the fifth half marathon of Ávila Monumental took place. With a temperature close to 4 degrees the race was held in the framework of the activities of the jubilee year 'Teresiano'.
Some 1100 runners were presented to the start line, almost all of them with the intention of enjoying 21km running around the most beautiful walled city in the world and others with the intention of winning the prizes that were at stake. It is necessary to emphasize the good athletic level and it is that the champion Sergio Sánchez Martín of the club Robla, won with a mark of 1h06min46seg.
A total of six runners of the entity participated in the test, thus being the tennis club with the most participation. All of them ended, Xabier Sole March being the fastest in completing the distance of 21km and 97m in 1h30min32sec.
The runners and relatives enjoyed a first sports, gastronomic and cultural weekend and already think about the half marathon of Tarragona, 'the house', which will be next November 26.
