THE MASCULINE ABSOLUTE REACHES THE GOAL OF PERMANENCE

The Absolute Masculí has become a living history of the Tarragona Tennis Club.

Last year, he managed to proclaim himself champion of Spain in Category C, achieving promotion to the second national division. This year, with a much higher demand and facing much tougher teams, they have again amazed us with another stellar performance.

Led by our beloved captain Juan Echevarrieta, accompanied by Santiago Ochoa, our players traveled to the Alcorcón Tennis Club facilities with one goal in mind: staying in Category B.

The Tarragona squad faced CT Reus Monterols on Saturday in the first test of the competition. After a more than complicated knockout, CTT could not overcome the 'derby', falling 1-4, and playing for the next day against the locals, CT Alcorcón.

In case of defeat, Absolut Masculí should have played the relegation phase, but based on work and effort, our players confirmed their presence in the Second National Division for another year by winning 4-1 .

A more than positive result for a squad that has been playing together for just over a season, and that have consolidated as a big family, showing that there is plenty of talent at Club Tennis Tarragona.

Special mention to Toyota Autoforum and Lexus Tarragona for making this trip possible in the most comfortable, efficient and safe way possible thanks to one of their hybrid vans.
