The male cadet tennis team runner up in Catalonia

The tennis team of the Club Tennis Tarragona held the final of the tennis championship in Spain last Sunday against CT Barcino. The young players from Tarragona lost to a powerful CT Barcino by 4 to 3.

Pol del Castillo, Marc Boada and Jordi Boada could not overcome their individual matches. Dani Martínez and Mario Monclus added their points and this gave them options to reach the doubles with options in the title. The local couple formed by Pol and Mario won their match 6/3 6/4 and finally the CT Barcino took the final point to the doubles for 6/4 6/2. The team was accompanied during the final by their captain Alberto and the physical trainer of the Carmel Plaza club.

The club and the technical team want to show their satisfaction for this great achievement achieved by the cadet team. The team will now continue with their training on the tracks of Cala Romana in order to arrive in the best condition of the next Spanish team championship.
