THE II GRAND SLAM OF PADEL MINORS OF THE TARRAGONA TENNIS CLUB ENDS

More than 450 players aged between 9 and 18 have visited the facilities of Cala Romana during the weekends from 1 to 9 May. The best Catalan paddles were present in the competition and it was possible to watch very disputed matches. The young players are selling very strong and some of them have even already competed in World Padel Tour rounds.

The second weekend we lived the eliminatory ones of the main pictures and the day of Sunday the semifinals and end. The competition was organized with the collaboration of the Catalan Paddle Federation and Aina Espetlleta and Maria Belloso were proclaimed champions in the female juvenile category. In male juveniles, Dani Docampo and Bryan Santos. In the children's categories Agueda Perez and Andrea Ustero in women's and Iker Castillo with Gerard Navas in men. In the higher categories, in female cadet Alba Gallardo and Ana Domingo, while in the male Pau Sanfulgencio and Arnau Candelo were the champions. Finally in the women's junior category Martina Fassio and local Ainara Pozuelo won the title. In the men's category Romà Busquets and Sael Martinez were the champions.

The competition followed the covid protocols established by the federation and the procicat, little by little the calendar returns to its usual pace.
