THE FIRST WALK OF THE YEAR GOES FROM RIUDECANYES TO ESCORNALBOU

The first walk of the year took place on Sunday, January 30th. The route left from Riudecanyes to Duesaigües, Argentera to go up to the town of Escornalbou and back.
Carmel Plaza was in charge of the meeting and guided the group throughout the morning with the collaboration of Ramon Palau. The swamp and the monastery were one of the attractions of the day which accumulated a total of 15 kilometers with more than 700 meters of positive gradient in more than 5 hours of departure.
A total of 16 members took part in the activity of the outdoor section, the good atmosphere was present and the temperatures accompanied. The group still has limited registrations in order to continue to improve in the covid situation. This time we did not have lunch at the end of the meeting. The organization is already working on the next outing, it will be on Sunday 20 February.
