The CT Tarragona women's team will play the promotion to the First Division

The absolute women's team of the Tarragona Tennis Club will play the promotion to the highest Spanish category, the First Division.

Our team was one step away from achieving automatic promotion to the 2nd Division phase played this weekend at the RCT Zaragoza facilities.

In the first round, CT Tarragona beat the local team, RCT Zaragoza, 2-3, after Anna Ortiz and Tatiana Bua won the doubles decisive point for the team, which also includes Sonia Poveda and Marina Sáez. In the final, however, they lost 1-3 to the powerful CT Murcia, which as champions rises directly.

CT Tarragona still does not know against which rival the promotion will be played. It will be, however, the seventh ranked of the Spanish Championship of the First Division which will take place from 12 to 14 November at the RCT Polo in Barcelona.
