The +55 men's tennis team was proclaimed this weekend the champion of Catalonia in team tennis in the highest category. Edu Osta, Miquel Puigdevall, Eusebi Alcaine, Juanjo Prats and Antonio 'Toñín' Sánchez form the team and are in a very sweet moment.
On Sunday they beat 'Real Club Tenis Barcelona' with a lot of authority by 3/0 in the singles. The tie lasted just over an hour, the presence of rain was about to stop the matches that could finally continue in play and the final results were Edu Osta vs victor Bosch 6-1 6-0 , Miquel Puigdevall vs Joaquim Pallarès 6-1 6-0 and Eusebi Alcaine vs Terence Robinson 6-1 6-1.
The players are a reference in the organization and every week we can see them preparing and training for the competitions on our courts. It should be noted that in two consecutive weeks the same players have been proclaimed champions of Spain 'B' against CT Barcino and champions of Catalonia against RCT Barcelona.
