OUR CHAMPIONS OF THE MONTH OF JANUARY IN THE TENNIS SECTION

The new year started with an absolute victory for Nico Muñoz in the CE test Jhonny Montañés against Pau Vidal by 7-6 6-3.

On this occasion the sisters Jana and Martina Genís chose players for their respective teams. Eventually the victory fell on the side of Jana's friends by 7-6.

Anna Ortiz took the victory of the month at RCT Barcelona by beating Alice Ferlito in the final of the Rafa Nadal Tour by 6-1 7-5 in the under-16 category.

Iñigo Villacampa disputed the absolute test in the Academy Sanchez Casal, lost the end against also the player of the province Iker Uribarrens by 3-6 6-7. In the same competition Anna Ortiz finished as champion in the junior category by beating Stoney Cooks 2-6 6-1 7-6 (7-5).

Iñigo Villacampa could not beat Mario Monclús at the UP CLUB in Cornellà and added a new runner-up to his record. For the women's side, Martina Genis took the title by beating Shoani Pawa in the final.

To end the month of January a good number of players and players of the entity competed in the Open Youth and Absolute Trophy of the CE Jhonny Montañés. Susana Pujol was the champion in the juvenile category by winning the final 7-5 6-3 against Aran Font. Her sister Adriana Pujol this time finished as runner-up in the test, losing the final 2-6 6-7 against Marta Domenech. Marcel Pons also could not beat Enric Espinòs in the juvenile final, losing 6-4 4-6 (1-10) and reaching the runner-up. Finally Guillem Pluvinet also added a new runner-up to the CTT list of players, losing to Arnau Santillana by 4-6 1-6.
