Club Tennis Tarragona has not missed the opportunity to host the sixth edition of the ITF J60 – Red Cup Tarragona. tournament that belongs to the world junior circuit of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
A competition aimed at junior players, both male and female, who are looking to make the jump to professional tennis, and the clay courts of the CTT will be the setting.

More than 100 tennis players, from more than 15 different nationalities, will arrive in the city of Tarragona with a single goal: to win the Red Cup 2024 champion trophy.

In addition, up to 8 players from Club Tennis Tarragona will have a 'Wild Card' to be able to compete in the competition, quite a luxury to be able to see players from the school in an international tournament: Álvaro Tormo, Genís Ribas, Adriana Pujol, Cristian Santos, Irache Alfaro, Izan Bofarull, Louise Muller and Máximo Rojas.

A competition that will take place from May 5 to 7 in the preliminary phase, and from May 8 to 12 in the final phase.

Aleix Rom, Territorial Representative of Sports in Tarragona, clarifies that "a tournament with full stands is expected and that the Red Cup will continue with the excellent level of tennis offered by the province".
Jordi Tamayo, President of the Catalan Tennis Federation, was certainly pleased to learn that Tarragona is once again offering international tennis: "Things are going well at Club Tennis Tarragona if we are in the sixth edition of this ITF Junior tournament . Of the 27 junior tournaments that take place in the country, 9 are in Catalonia, this shows that the CTT is a club of excellence, led by its president".
