MIQUEL PUIGDEVALL CHAMPION OF THE I 'CARMEN PEREA' TOURNAMENT ITF WORLD TENNIS MASTERS TOUR

From March 26 to 30, the Chamartín Tennis Club of Madrid hosted the 1st "Carmen Perea" Tournament scoring for the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour veterans world circuit, with full Spanish in all the individual events at stake.

Our partner and player Miquel Puigdevall (+60) took part in the men's competition.

Puigdevall faced in the first match of his competition against the head of series (1) J. Hidalgo Caselles whom he overcame by 6-2 6-1. It should be noted that the semi-final round was particularly tough, against Paulo Travassos (4) who ended up eliminated by 4-6 6-4 [11-9]. Finally, he beat Juan Saro 6-1 6-2 in the final, to proclaim himself the champion of this first edition.
