Miquel Puigdevall ends his experience with Spain at the World Tennis Championships in third place. The team won the bronze medal by beating Germany in the last match.
The competition was held at one of the leading clubs in Florida in the United States, specifically in Palm Beach. The playing surface was green clay and gathered some of the best rackets in the world in the +55 category.
The Spanish team easily overcame the group stage and lost in the semifinals against Italy by 6/3 in the third set of the decisive double.
Puigdevall continues to add unique experiences, the senior player of Club Tennis Tarragona is already preparing his next tournaments on the courts of Cala Romana. He will first go to Hamburg to compete in an ITF and then represent Catalonia for the first time with his team.
