MARTINA GENÍS, IN THE FINAL PHASE OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Martina Genís, player of Club Tennis Tarragona, for the second summer in a row, has been selected to play with the Spanish National Team, in this case, with the Under-18s, to compete in the European Summer Cups.

First, the national team contested the preliminary phase last week, in the Czech Republic, where they beat Poland in the quarterfinals, Croatia in the semis, and the locals in the grand final.

Now, Spain has qualified for the final stage, which starts today in Saint-Valery en Caux (France), and where they make their debut against Sweden. In addition, they contest the tournament as the nº1 seeds, therefore, they are the big favorites to take the trophy.

Martina is having a great role in the competition, since 2 of the 3 rounds that the Selection has already passed were decided in the doubles, where our player is really decisive.

From the CTT, we feel infinite pride to see how Genís has achieved feats of this height. If they make it past the quarter-finals, they would face each other in the semi-finals in Portugal or Romania (4).
