Martina Genís is undoubtedly living an unforgettable year. After winning the ITF Red Cup at home, at Club Tennis Tarragona, or competing at Wimbledon, the icing on the cake was being proclaimed champion of the ITF 15k in Valencia last week.
He has done it in doubles, partnering with Sarah Rakotomanga and accompanied by our coach Nando.
In the 1st round, they beat 6-4 6-2, in the quarters, 6-2 3-6 [10-4], in the semifinals, 4-6 6-4 [10-7] and in the final, they beat Enola Chiesa (No. 3 seed), and Alessandra Mazzola 2-6 6-2 [10-8].
She also played singles, although she fell in the 1st round of the final stage against Marcelina Podlinska (World No. 899) 6-2 6-4.
We want to congratulate Martina, who is already preparing for a new ITF in Valencia that she will compete in this week, as well as our coach Nando Elvira, for a job well done.
