MAPFRE SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP FOR VETERAN TEAMS FROM AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES
The Tarragona Tennis Club will host the 3rd edition of the tournament!

As you already know, the Tarragona Tennis Club has been, during the year 2024, the venue of several renowned tournaments at national and international level. Great examples are the Conde de Godó Under-14 Trophy, the ITF M25 City of Tarragona, the Red Cup Tarragona, the Warriors Tour, among others.
Now, at the Cala Romana facilities, there is a new opportunity to shine and show that the CTT is one of the most important clubs in the country. A great example of this is that we will host the 3rd edition of the Spanish Mapfre Tennis Championship for Veteran teams from Autonomous Communities.
It will take place from September 19 to 22, and the best players +45, +55 and +65, male and female, will demonstrate their level on the clay courts of the Tarragona Tennis Club. In total, around 120 players.
A total of 16 men's and 14 women's national teams, such as the Catalan National Team, Madrid, the Valencian Community, Andalusia, among others; that will contest the competition that has up to 4 seeds.
The 1st round will decide which teams will play in the final phase, and which consolation phase in a playoff format of 3 singles matches (one +45, one +55 and one +65), and one doubles. In the event of a tie, a doubles 'Super Tie-Break' will be played to decide the winners.
The finals, both of the main draw and the consolations, in addition to 3rd and 4th place, will take place on Sunday.
Access to the matches is completely free, therefore, we encourage you to attend and enjoy a new high-level competition offered by Club Tennis Tarragona. It is a matter of pride for us to once again host a tournament with such a reputation, considered one of the most important at national level.
In addition, we will have 2 CTT representatives in the Spanish Championship, representing the Catalan National Team: Miquel Puigdevall and Álex López. Both will have the opportunity to play at home and with their people.
