Leandro Campabadal, member number 1 of Club Tennis Tarragona, has made history again.
At the age of 94, he has participated in the +90 2024 Spanish Championship, held at CT Llafranc (Palafrugell), becoming the most veteran person in recent years in a national tournament.
After a few months preparing for the big event, our player arrived at the competition more prepared than ever.
On this occasion, there were a total of 6 participants in the tournament, divided into 2 groups of 3.
Leandro lost the first match, and won the second by WO; therefore, he has finished 2nd in the group. He was one step away from qualifying for the grand final.
In addition, the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation wanted to recognize our player. It is a great honor to have Leandro at Club Tennis Tarragona.
