JINHONG YANG, SUB-CHAMPION OF SPAIN

Jinhong Yang, player of Club Tennis Tarragona, has achieved the national sub-championship after reaching the grand final of the Spanish Children's Championship, organized by the Spanish Tennis Federation.

Acting as the number 6 seed, he beat N. Lopesino 6-4 6-3 in the 1st round, M. Pujas 6-1 6-0 in the round of 16, M. Schulz (10) 6-2 6 in the round of 8 -1, in the quarters to G. Corrales (3) 6-1 3-6 6-3 and in the semifinals to F. Fontan (2) 3-6 6-3 6-2.

Finally, in the final he was beaten by I. Bañares, number 1 seed, who achieved second place at national level.
