GREEN LIGHT TO THE FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BY THE MEMBERS AT THE ASSEMBLY

On Monday, April 24, the ordinary and extraordinary general assembly of the Tarragona Tennis Club was held in the Diputació auditorium with the participation of more than 175 members.
For the first time the president Luís Salas de Córdoba and his board of directors were at the head of one of the days indicated in the entity's calendar. Following the different items on the agenda, they presented the report or report of the activities of the 2022 financial year, achieving in voting by a large majority the approval of the liquidation, the closing balance of the 2022 financial year and the accounts
Already thinking about the more immediate future, a vote was also held to approve the budget for the 2023 financial year.
On this occasion, the assembly, which was also of an extraordinary nature, lasted up to 3 hours to deal with one of the points of the day, the improvement of the facilities due to the impact of the same due to the intense rains of Santa Tecla in 2022. The partners present actively participated throughout the day with prayers and questions before the votes. Finally, the operation will have the green light and an investment budget of one million euros with a maximum debt of 600,000 euros. Soon, the start of the works and their phases will be announced.
In addition, the organization will apply to be recognized as a public utility and will work on a general volunteering plan in order to continue improving and bringing sport closer to everyone. Once the event was over, the board of directors and its president expressed their satisfaction with the support received and thanked the attendees for their presence.
