GREAT REPRESENTATION OF THE CTT AT THE CATALAN ABSOLUTE AND MINOR MASTERS

On the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of December, at the facilities of the DIR Sant Cugat Padel Club, the Absolute Catalan Masters and also for Minors, with up to 5 representatives of the Tarragona Tennis Club, took place.

- Jaume Rion: Together with his teammate Guillem Gañan, they fall to the quarter-finals of the Catalan Junior Masters, in the male cadet category. They lost, by a score of 3-6 6-3 1-6, against the pair of under-champions of the tournament Iker Mercader and Pedro Gonzalez.

In this way, it puts an end to a good and hard season. In this category, 7-8 couples with a very similar level have lived together, where their matches are usually decided in the third set.

- Aina Porta: She is proclaimed, along with her partner Elia Pons, sub-champion of the Catalan Masters for minors, in the female cadet category. The championship, where the 8 best couples from each category meet, was held at the facilities of Club DIR Sant Cugat.

In the first round, the quarter-finals, they won by a result of 6-0 6-0, against Mireia Zorres and Alexia Cantarero. In the semifinals, they got rid of Mariona Font and Jana Serra 6-4 6-3. Finally, in the final, she lost 4-6 6-0 6-1 against champions Jana Montes and Martina Rivera.

- Anna Ortiz: Together with her partner Sandra Oliveras, they fall to the quarter-finals of the absolute Catalan Master, in the women's category. They lost, by a score of 4-6 2-6, against the under-champion pair of the tournament Andrea Ustero and Sara Pujals.

- Ainara Pozuelo: Together with her partner Ana Dominguez, they fall to the semifinals of the absolute Catalan Masters, in the women's category. They lost, by a score of 2-6 2-6, against the under-champion pair of the tournament Andrea Ustero and Sara Pujals.

In his first year, actively in the absolute padel circuit, he managed to compete in several events of the professional circuit and place himself in the top 10 of the Catalan classification.
