Anna Ortiz has been proclaimed champion of the world with the Spanish team in the Paddle Juvenile World Cup disputed in Castellón. The Tarragona player formed in the lower categories of the Tennis Club Tarragona has won the title after losing to the final against Argentina in the sub-14 category by an unbelievable 3 to 0.
Ortiz, who recently became Spanish childhood champion for the Autonomous Region of Catalonia with tennis in Catalonia, has actively contributed to the achievement of the title with full wins in the two eliminatory games he has played. In the first round, he managed to beat Mexico in the group stage by 6-0 6-1 and later, in the last round of the championship he was able to overcome Argentina without much complications, resolving both sets for a score end of 6-0 and 6-2. For their part, the boys of the Spanish team have also become this weekend in the new flagship world champions after winning Argentina with a fine final result (2/1).
