ALEJANDRO MARCO, SUB-CHAMPION OF SPAIN

Alejandro Marco, student of the Tennis Competition School and player of the Boys' Children's team, has been called up with the Catalan National Team to compete in the Spanish Championship for Children's Teams for Autonomous Communities.

The competition was held at the CT Juan Carlos Ferrero de Villena facilities, where the best children's players in the country took part.

Catalonia, which was seeded nº2, beat Murcia in the round of 16 by 2-0, Castilla-La Mancha in the quarters by 2-0 and Andalusia in the semi-finals by 2-0.

In the grand final, the Catalan team was beaten by the No. 1 seed and tournament favorite, the Community of Madrid (0-2).
