Aina Porta, a member of the paddle school at Club Tennis Tarragona, and her partner Elia Pons, are proclaimed champions of Catalonia under 15 in paddle.
In the first edition of this tournament, which welcomed girls and boys from all over Catalonia at the Padel Indoor DIR Sant Cugat facilities.
Aina and her partner started as the tournament's number 1 seed.
They overcame all the matches to end up proclaiming themselves champions. In the round of 16, they beat Laura Ferrer and Irina Ceresuela 7-5 and 6-2. In the quarter-finals they beat Maria Repullo and Alexandra Quesada 6-2 and 6-2. In the semifinals, they beat Nura Padilla and Miriam Morales by 6-4 and 7-5. Finally, in the final, they beat Martina Rivera and Andrea Ripolles by 6-4 and 6-2.
Throughout the championship they played a great game and adapted to the circumstances proposed by each match and each rival pair.
