The team of veterans won the second category of the Spanish championship
The players of the club played the final phase in Bilbao

The female veteran paddle team disputed the final phase of the Spanish championship at the Real Josaleta in Bilbao at the weekend. Up to a total of 13 team members moved to Bilbao in order to reach the second category. Montse Mercadé was the captain of the team.
On Friday afternoon the first round took place, where the CTTs faced the Idzero Paddel Tennis Club team and the final score was 3/2 in favor of those of Tarragona. In this way the players of the club of Cala Romana followed in competition after the journey day and they would face on Saturday against the Campo Laukariz club in the quarterfinals, the result was repeated and 3/2 at please of ours. The same Saturday he played to double and in the afternoon played the semifinals against Naranjo Paddle Club, the winners of that round would have access to second category and the honor of playing at the end of Sunday the title of third champions. Therefore the veterans of the club left with everything and took the opportunity they had before, 4/1 was the overall result and the Club Tennis Tarragona placed its team in the second national category.
The Sunday end that was against the premises of Real Club Jolaseta, was the closing of a round weekend and that was not for less, 3/2 and third category champions. The club wishes to emphasize the essence of this team, players that we usually see on our tracks every week, a pride that brings our colors.
