The Tarragona Tennis Club already prepares the university tennis championship in Catalonia

It will take place at the club of Cala Romana from 4 to 8 April

The Rovira i Virgili University, together with the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Tarragona Tennis Club, have presented a new edition of the University Tennis Championship of Catalonia that will be held at the club of Cala Romana from April 4 to 8, 2018. At the presentation which has taken place on the club's main track, have been present. Joan Plana as territorial representative of the sport of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Ruth Marquès as representative of the URV, the president of the Tennis Club Tarragona, Pere LL.Bergadà and Lluís Yebra as president the territorial FCT of Tarragona.

The competition will feature individual paintings both in male and female categories. The organization is working on the possibility of competing in a double category category to expand the competition that already has more than 32 players and registered players that will represent the different universities in the four provinces. It should be noted that to be part of the competition must be enrolled in one of the Catalan universities, as well as being part of the sports program.

The finals are scheduled for Sunday morning and access will be free for all those who want to follow them live on the CTT central lane. The president of the club, Pere LLuís Bergadà, wishes to emphasize the involvement of the entity with all that is training tennis and stresses that this test will serve as a small test in the face of the 2018 Mediterranean Games, where the Club Tennis Tarragona will be the official head of the tennis court.
