The senior team of the Tarragona Tennis Club is the Spanish tennis champion
The senior +50 men's tennis team is proclaimed champion of Spain 'B' by winning the 'Club de Tenis Valencia' in the final by 4/1.
During the competition that was part of the 19/20 season the team overcame to 1/4 of the final at the CA Montemar in Alicante and in the semifinals at the C.Internacional in Madrid.
In this final day in Valencia tennis, Eduard Osta beat Victor Bacete 6-3 6-2 and Miquel Puigdevall beat Alejandro Valiño 6-1 6-0, adding important points for the tie. Captain Marc Pluvinet this time lost to Pablo Carrera by 2-6 3-6, this would be the only point that would let the Tarragona team escape to Valencia. Eusebi Alcaine beat Miguel Angel Castejon 6-2 6-0 and Juanjo Prats beat Ivan Jiménez 6-2 6-1. There was no need to play doubles and Club Tennis Tarragona was promoted to category A for this 20/21 season which will be played from November.
