Part of the club of the Tennis Club Tarragona and its president Pere LL.Bergadà visited on Wednesday the facilities of the Mediterranean ring, built for the forthcoming Mediterranean Games 2018 that will host the city of Tarragona and of which, Club de Cala Romana, will be the venue for tennis events. All of them agreed during their visit that the city will achieve a significant improvement of sports facilities.
The visit that was guided by Pere Valls and lasted approximately one and a half hours, consisted in taking a walk and knowing the different accesses, as well as the most significant works. The track of athletics will enter into operation on October 2, as well as other parts of the installation such as the indoor pool, the pavilion and the offices of the Board of Trustees, without forgetting the entire outdoor park and garden area that makes up this ring.
But without any doubt, the jewel of the crown that impressed everyone will be the sports palace with capacity for 5000 people, the work shows an advanced state although there are still work days, the same That the open-air Olympic pool, which is expected to be completed by May next year.
