More than 150 couples will play at the Tennis Club Tarragona the sixth Paddle Against Cancer Open
More than 150 couples will play the sixth Paddle Against Cancer Open on October 14 to 21, according to the forecasts of the drivers of this initiative that today have presented the tournament at the Tarragona Tennis Club that will host it for the first time.
Ana Vilallonga and Eduardo Sañudo, president and treasurer, respectively, of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the province of Tarragona, have pointed out that precisely the recent merger of the two clubs of Cala Romana (the Tarragona Tennis Club has acquired the TennisPark ), encourages them to think that the results achieved in previous calls, both in participation and in the solidarity figure achieved, will be surpassed, which moves between 5,000 and 6,000 euros.
For his part, Pere Ll. Bergadà, president of the Tennis Club Tarragona, was pleased to host this tournament and recalled that, without a doubt, the increase of the social mass will play in favor of the success of the initiative. As a novelty for this edition, a skill test for pallassonners and padelers has been planned on Saturday afternoon. It goes without saying that the Open will be played in the male, female and mixed categories. All registered will receive a T-shirt as a welcome pack and will participate in a great draw of gifts. Inscriptions (23 euros) and zero line will be open at www.tennistarragona.com until October 10.
