The Medal of the Mediterranean Games arrives at the Tarragona Tennis Club

The final of double and the semifinals of men and women will be disputed this Friday

At Club Tennis Tarragona, the time has come for the truth of the Mediterranean Games with the fight for the medals in the individual and double tables.

Women's semi-finals, between French Fiona Ferro and Slovene Veronika Erjavec and Italian Lucia Bronzetti and Turkish Basak Eraydin (starting at 10:00 a.m.), will be played this Friday, and the men who will face the monegasc Lucas Catarina and the Moroccan Amine Ahouda (12.00) and her compatriot Lamine Ouahab and Italian Jacopo Berretini (2pm).

In the afternoon, the final of female doubles, between the Bosnian-Herzegovians Nefisa Berberovic and Dea Herdzelas and the Turks Ipek Oz and Basak Eraydin (4:30 p.m.) will take place. And also the match for the bronze medal between the Spaniards Marina Bassols and Eva Guerrero and the French Fiona Ferro and Harmony Tan (4:30 p.m.). And then (6.30pm) the final of male doubles between the French Alexandre Muller and Corentin Denolly and the Tunisian Anis Ghorbel and Aziz Mohamed Dougaz and the bronze match between the Portuguese Bernardo Saraiva and Gonçalo Falcao and the Turks Ilhian Sarp Agabigun i Anil Yuksel.

In the quarterfinals of the day of Thursday, French Fiona Ferro defeated Italian Lucrezia Stefanini (3/6, 7/5 and 6/1); the Italian Lucia Bronzetti of the French Harmony Tan (6/3 and 6/4); the Slovenian Veronika Erjavec from the Tunisian Chiraz Bechri (6/2 and 6/1); and Turkish Basak Eraydin from Spanish Eva Guerrero (6/4 and 6/2). In the masculine box, the Moroccan Amine Ahouda won the French Corentin Denolly (6/2 and 6/1); the also Moroccan Lamine Ouahab in the Cypriot Menelaos Efstathiou (6/0 and 6/3); monegasc Lucas Catarina to Portuguese Bernardo Saraiva (6/2 and 6/4); and Italian Jacopo Berretini to Frenchman Alexandre Muller (6/4 and 6/0).

In the semifinals of doubles the Turks Ipek Oz and Basak Eraydin have defeated the Spaniards Marina Bassols and Eva Guerrero (6/2 and 6/1); the Bosnian-hergezogives Nefisa Berberovic and Dea Herdzelas from the French Fiona Ferro and Harmony Tan (6/7, 6/4 and 10/8); the French Alexandre Muller and Corentin Denolly, from the Portuguese Bernardo Saraiva and Gonçalo Falcao (6/1 and 7/5) and the Tunisian Anis Ghorbel and Aziz Mohamed Dougaz to the Turks Ilhian Sarp Agabigun and Anil Yuksel (7/5, 1/6 and 10/8).
