The popular 'rumbera' calçotada was a success

On Sunday, February 10th, the "rumbera" calçotada took place at the Tarragona Tennis Club. The social section this time surprised with a new proposal that was intended to combine a typical meal of the Tarragona land at this time, calçots, with a rumbera atmosphere throughout the event.
A total of 86 members and friends of the entity gathered in the club square to enjoy a pre musical vermouth before the popular calçotada. The time that accompanied it at all times, allowed to taste the calçots and their traditional sauce on the outside. We must also say that we also had a competition of the room of calçots where 3 candidates were presented to the prize and where the public and a specific jury gave their opinion, finally the winner was Silvia Sánchez.
The gastrobar of Club Tennis Tarragona was responsible for the food and left everyone very happy. The grilled meat tasted inside the restaurant, accompanied by the tradition of a Catalan cream and a wine of the earth. All at a very popular price.
The party ended with the live performance of the rumba group 'Alma Barbera', which features the artist Tarek, who recently starred in the 'Voz' program and will be part of Antonio Orozco's team.
