Club members visit the Charterhouse and enjoy a wine tasting at Escaladei

The club's outdoor section is still the final stretch of the 18/19 hike season. There are only two departures left before the summer stop, but this does not affect the attendance and encouragement of our members of the entity that continue to enjoy and much of each of the organized departures. Up to 32 attended this meeting.
This time it was the turn of the population of Escaladei, located just under an hour from our club. The route, this time short and easy, was from the center of the town to La Cartuja, located approximately 2km away. Once there, there was a visit inside, being able to observe the transformation and remodeling of space in recent years and moving imaginatively to the style of life of the monks of the thirteenth century on the same terrain. In short, a space that is worth visiting if you approach the area.
Ours went from La Cartuja to the restaurant, the wine would be the protagonist of this second part of the day. A visit to the winery, knowing the land of one of the owners, Jordi. Trying and savoring the wines, directly from the boot or the bottle, all accompanied by a good meal with products of the land and grilled meat. Once again, a round day.
The next walk is announced on May 12 and the last one will be on June 9, the site will be announced soon on the website.
